Time to make some rankings . . .

We've seen four games so far this season, and it's a reasonable time to make some early season rankings for the Lonesome Pine District. Who ya'll got in terms of ranking the best teams in the district and region? Mine are as follows:

LPD
1) Union
2) Burton
3) Clintwood
4) Central

SWVa Region
1) Richlands
2) George Wythe
3) Union
4) Va High
5) Gate City
6) Burton
7) Lee
8) Castlewood
9) Clintwood
10) Honaker
Honorable Mention
Haysi

LPD:
Union, Burton....tie(both seem to be as good as the other is right now)
Clintwood (not nearly as talented as they were, but still plenty enough talent to come in 3rd
Central (Last weeks loss just took the wind out of their sails)

Speaking of that what are the chances that Mullins doesn't make it the entire season as HC?

I've alrey heard one Central fan yell for Mullins and Hicks jobs but more along the line of hicks job they are saying he's bad at calling D!!!

Any place that tries to run off a HS football coach during a season is a complete moron. Unless of course it has something to do with off the field problems.

Hicks is also a good coach. If they get rid of him it'll be to someone elses benefit.

I was just stateing what i heard i could care less about wise or central!!! Union is gonna beat them no matter who the coach is even if it was you IRONLUNG!!!!!!

That was the reason I asked the people involved have been known to, or at least try to do such crazy things. I still say there was something more to BI leaving two weeks before the season started which is bout just as bad.

I agree with you about Hicks, he is a good position coach just not so sure how good a HC or coordinator he is.
